Cara Rooney is an illustrator and plaything maker based in Dundee. She uses bright colours, textured shapes and bold compositions to create playful illustrations encouraging connection to nature. Cara’s debut children’s book A Little World of Ants was released after winning the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2021.
